About
Optimized Payments is an Atlanta-based consulting firm that leverages its associates’ broad payments industry experience and insight to help all types of businesses manage their payment processing costs and improve their bottom line.

All of our consulting engagements are centered on making lasting and substantial improvements to the performance of merchant services for our clients. We define our success by the impact we make on our clients’ bottom line. If Optimized Payments doesn’t deliver measurable results, our clients don’t pay a fee. Our consultants stay abreast of payment industry regulations, product initiatives and market developments to ensure we deliver the most up to date expertise.

We value our clients time and have developed a proprietary methodology that allows them to focus their operations while we manage all aspects of merchant services. We analyze areas of product and pricing optimization, recommend strategies, and then implement our recommendations. Within a few days of engaging us, our clients have an estimate of how we will impact their bottom line. In some instances where the savings are not substantial, we mutually agree to not move forward with the assignment. And all this happens at no cost to the client or before a contract is ever signed.

Optimized Payments is led by founder Anand Goel who previously headed the pricing team at one of the largest payment processors in the United States, Nova Information Systems. At Nova Anand was recognized for developing the first predictive attrition model used to reduce customer churn, and the first pricing application used to manage dynamic pricing for prospective customers.  Anand has 15 years of management and consulting experience in the financial services and telecommunication industries.

Prior to Nova, Anand held various consulting and management roles at Fidelity Investments, and MCI Telecommunications.  He holds a Bachelor of Business Administration degree from the University of Texas at Austin and an MBA with honors from F.W. Olin Graduate School of Business at Babson College.
