Optimized Payments is an Atlanta-based consulting firm that leverages its proprietary software and associates’ broad payments industry experience and insights to help all types of businesses manage their payment processing costs and improve their bottom line.
All of our consulting engagements are centered on making lasting and substantial improvements to the performance of merchant services for our clients. We define our success by the impact we make on our clients’ bottom line. If Optimized Payments doesn’t deliver measurable results, our clients don’t pay a fee. Some clients, however, engage us on a fixed fee basis. Our consultants stay abreast of payment industry regulations, product initiatives and market developments to ensure we deliver the most up to date expertise.
We value our clients time and have developed a methodology that allows them to focus on their operations while we manage all aspects of merchant services. We analyze areas of product, processes, and pricing optimization, recommend strategies, and then implement our recommendations. Within a short period of engaging us, our clients have an estimate of how we will impact their bottom line.
Anand founded Optimized Payments Consulting in 2007. Under his leadership, Optimized Payments has helped Fortune 100 to mid-sized companies save over $120 million in interchange and processing fees.
Anand is an expert in the electronic payments industry with a deep understanding of pricing and interchange dynamics and best practices for credit/debit cards, PIN-debit cards, private label and co-brand cards, and convenience fees. He has shared his payments insights at merchant conferences and publications, including Merchant Risk Counsel (MRC), Association for Financial Professionals (AFP), Atlanta Business Chronicle, Atlanta Business Radio, Vistage, and Proformative. Anand is on the Editorial Advisory Board for AFP’s Payments Newsletter.
Prior to Optimized Payments Consulting, Anand headed the pricing team for Elavon, the third largest payment processor in the United States. At Elavon, Anand was recognized for developing the first predictive attrition model used to reduce customer churn and the first pricing application used to manage dynamic pricing for prospective customers. He has 20 years of management and consulting experience in the financial services and telecommunication industries.
Anand holds a Bachelor of Business Administration degree from the University of Texas at Austin and a MBA with honors from F.W. Olin Graduate School of Business at Babson College.
Srini has deep payment systems and IT experience spanning 20 years. Prior to joining Optimized Payments, Srini managed a $1.8 billion retail payment processing system from a technology and cost optimization perspective. He is a recognized expert in complex payment system including network architecture, PCI, interchange optimization, ATM and POS systems, EBT transactions, and settlement.
Srini holds a Bachelor of Engineering degree from Hyderabad Central University and a MBA from California State University.
Monika joined Optimized Payments Consulting in 2010 and is responsible for providing strategic consultation, account management, and marketing plan development.
Prior to joining OPC, Monika worked for an engineering company as a client relations manager and managed the education programs, database development, and marketing and promotional campaigns.
Monika holds a Bachelor of Business from the University of Houston.
Troy joined Optimized Payments Consulting in 2013 and is the Technology and Database Lead. Troy has more than 20+ years of experience as a developer, system administrator, and project manager. Troy’s past experience and his drive for problem solving has made him a key addition to the OPC team.
David joined Optimized Payments Consulting in 2014 and is responsible for the creation of data visualization analytics. David has an artistic eye and possesses programming knowledge to create actionable interactive dashboards.
David has a Master of Science in Computer Science from the University of California and a Master of Science in Electrical Engineering from Stanford University.
